Salmon Teriyaki
A very speedy, but utterly delicious and very impressive salmon dish. Who doesn't like Teriyaki?!
A very speedy, but utterly delicious and very impressive salmon dish. Who doesn't like Teriyaki?!
one. Put the sugar, sake, mirin and soy sauce in a frying pan and bring to the boil. Let the sauce bubble and reduce by almost half, until it becomes syrupy.
two. To cook the salmon, heat the grapeseed oil in a non-stick frying pan. Sprinkle the salmon fillets wth salt and fry 3 minutes skin side down. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
three. Add the teriyaki sauce and continue to cook for another 3 minutes, basting as the fillets finish cooking. Remove the fish to a plate and pour over the sauce.
Serving Suggestion. A green salad with Japanese salad dressing Quick cucumber Pickle Rice
Possible Amendment. You can replace the salmon with chicken or tofu
